    The rub rail is probably stainless steel. If so it's available at Jamestown Distributors www.jamestowndistributors.com They have several different types.
    Good Luck,

    Greetings owners association;
    This is the first time I am posting on this board. I am currently doing some extensive repair work on a Pacemaker 48, 1974. We initially thought to keep the existing aluminum rub rail that is on the vessel now, but are now looking in to replace it. I was checking in with different suppliers this morning without any success. I am wondering if there is someone on this board that has knowledge where and if I am still able to find the rubrail that was original installed on the vessel.

    Much obliged,
    Benny Axelsson

    We are looking for new rub rails to put on our Pacemaker. There is a company that sells rub rails that was mentioned and had the term "ovitch" or ovich as part of their name. Is there anyone that can direct me to the full name or website for this company?

  • Taco Metals is a major supplier to the industry. http://www.tacomarine.com/ They manufacture all types of aluminum and Stainless shapes. Also if you think you might want to consider other materials look at is http://www.barbourcorp.com/marine-products.htm. They supply plastic extrusions also used by many builders. They are the supplier of Boston Whaler rub rails. Last year I bought enough to re-do my 13 whaler and my swim platform.
