Ventilation Board (Peg Board), drilled on 1/2" centers - Used on the Wooden Pacemakers
-
Does anyone know of a source for the original hardboard "peg board" that was used for ventihilation in vaious areas of the Pacmaker's interior and exterior. It came in 3/16' thickness for sliding cabinet doors, and I believe it was 1/8" thick around the interior of the back deck (fastened to the interior side of the ribs, thus covering the back of the planks while providing ventilation). The hard part of this search is that the vent holes are drilled on 1/2" centers, standard peg board (easily available) is drilled on 1" centers. I was able to get a company called "American Wood Moulding Products" to confirm the specs on their pegboard as the desied 1/2" centers, but they would not sell direct. I had to buy the product through an online retailer, but unfortunately what I received was the standard 1" centered pegboard that you can get anywhere. Does anyone know how to obtain this original type of peg board?
