Stainless Steel - Floor Seam Covering Strips, 3/4" wide.
-
This particular stainless steel item is 3/4" wide with counter sunk holes drilled for #6 screws about every 3 inches. It will be used in various lengths on the exterior deck/floor to cover the seams between two sections of Nautolex Vynal Flooring, or to cover the joints between two pieces of original Crylon flooring inside the cabin (usually in doorways). I have seen this material used on many late 1960's era WOOD Pacemaker cruisers in the 34, 36, & 38 footer range. I reinstalled the original Nautolex flooring on my 36' Deluxe Express Cruiser (open cockpit) and have fallen short about by 1 foot on each seam because I took the original stainless steel covering strips off of a "Salon Type" cruiser (so they were a little shorter). I don't know where else to look as I believe that this is a "used on a Pacemaker only" type of item in that time period. I'm hoping that someone might know what I am talking about and is able to sell me a piece or two of it. Please call me at 610-809-2168 if you think you may have what I am looking for. Thanks!
