Just purchased yesterday. Needs some work but all looks to be there. Diesels run and interior in good shape. need a few planks replaced above the waterline and some general TLC. Hopefully i didn't bite off more than I can chew! Planning on moving her from Fall River, MA to Wickford, RI this weekend. Wish me luck!

If you are going by water pick your weather, If you have bad planks above the water line I would check very carefully below the waterline. Oh, and good luck!

  • I would watch the weather closely for this weekend because we will have effects from Irene.

Thanks, will watch the weather. Below the waterline was dealt with, have all paperwork. Above is just a few spots that I will have to learn how to fix. I think she will be fine and it isn't too far of a run, about 20 miles from what I can tell. Plan to go 6 knots or so and Sea Tow is up to date!

Congratulations! Please make sure your bilge pumps are running and check under the hatches often. The water will come in the upper planks also, with the waves. It is normal on a shake down to take on water as she swells. Have a safe and enjoyable trip:)

  • Oh I forgot, pictures, let's see the bragging pictures.

Here is a link for photos posted by previous owner. So far a ton of cleaning. Have a funky smell I can't shake, anybody ever use an ozone generator? Smells like a combo of wood boat smell, head smell, mold, dirty bilge smell all covered with fruit and flowers. Will be living aboard with my two sons for the next nine months, hope we can survive the winter!
