Removing pinstripes
Removing pinstripes
-
I have been removing the pinstripes off of my hull so I can finish wet sanding and polishing. Problem is the pinstripes look like they have been on the boat since 1973 and are leaving all of the glue behind!!! What is the best stuff to use to remove this??? The topside was oxidized so bad it was like chalk! After wetsanding with 800/1500/2000 and compounding and wax. It looks like brand new!!!

WD40 will take the glue off with a bit of elboe grease.
