Alglas 25 Twin vs Single
-
As tight as it is in the engine box with 1 engine I would hate to try to work on something in it with 2 engines

Iknew there was a trick to all of this!

hey friends- actually visiting because of a conversation w/ mako 236 and saw this- an easy one. - Twins have the obvious docking advantages and boat yard $ disadvantages- A twin 25 FBSF was done but failed-suspect the prop tunnels worked fine but the smaller twins and multiple guages, over powering and systems were just too much for the smaller efficient semi displacement hull- Docking a single just takes a bit more patience but you will be a better skipper fot it- a round chine semi-diplacement hull like all hulls has advantages- great in rough seas, great in following seas, excellent fuel economy etc and yet not well suited to high speeds ( over 27k chine walk ) . enjoy the ride -BCS
