    I am going to add a windlass (aka marriage saver!) to my 1976 36' SF. Right now there are chocks on the foredeck where the anchor was stored. I would like to install a bow pulpit and roller for a large Danforth style anchor as well as a good quality windlass. Has anyone done this? Any tips or pictures would be great.

    I had a powerwinch 914? capstan winch on my 36 until the base rusted out. Mounted a small roller to the front center of the bow as a guide but once the anchor was loose it was pulled by hand and stored on the deck.
