Does anyone have the hull design or other schematics for their Pacemakers? Please forgive me for my naivety, but I have very limited knowledge about my boat. I know she's made out of mahogany. Is she she double planked? I also intend on replacing all the fastners this Winter. Any clue on how many fasteners she will require and a wild guess at how long it will take to replace them? Any help (or drawings) is greatly appreciated!

Hello again, heres a site you should look at "Restorations and Projects:New Fasteners,Ribs, bungs(wood plugs covering the fasteners) corking and seams". The photo's that drrishi1 has posted on his refit are great! Not sure why you want to replace all the fasteners, unless your survey said to. Your single planked "caravel" planking. Your ribs are oak. As far as schematics, you can look in literature I would think. Hope this helps.

Just to add to what Skipper68 said, each plank has 3 fasteners in it and they are not easy to get out. When I did mine it took about 10 min on ave to get one out, some came right out but most I had to drill and pull with an easy out and it took forever I had just under 4000 I think and I only did the aft 1/4 took me 5 days and I couldn't lift or feel my arms when I was done. good luck....

Ahoy Jimmy! We've been getting snow! :( I think you meant 3 rows in your post. Another subject,is I'm pretty sure some where on this forum there are links to whole sale prices on the fasteners. The first time we needed them "NOW "we ended up paying the other marina almost 1$ a fastener! That was in "94".
