Greetings, my name is Drew and I am new here. I am the recently new owner of a 1969 60' pacemaker. Does anyone know where I could get the stem for my davit, connecting the davit arm to the deck pole?

    Thanks[:)]

If I get what your saying. It will be cheaper for you to go to a welding shop and have them make it.

The most popular davit of the time was made by Pipewelders. I don't know if they are still in business.

    Drew,
Welcome aboard! As some one said a machine or weldong shop is your best bet. Just take a mesurement or the one from the other side and have it made.

    Hello Drew,
I have a 1966 44' Pace and JUST bought a 1971 60' Pace. I am in the Detroit area, where are you located? Can you send me some pics? Shoot me a picture of your davit and some dimensions. I am with a mold making shop and can probably get something made up for you. Let me know.

    Hi Drew,
Can you send me some pictures of your boat. I would like to compare to my boat. I have a 1971 60' Pace and I would like to see the similarities and differences....

I will get to some more cool pix asap. But. I'm stumped... I can't get it to stop leaking throught the headliner of the captains quarters port and starbord. Just under the big windows. I've done a bunch if hole finding and patching in the walls from the outside and have evin layed in wood trim between the windows and the sill and caulked the crap out if it as well as smoothed it all out. I have reduced the leaked but would live some expert advice. Any ideas that aren't totally obvious?

Pull up,and re bed every piece of hardware, hailer's,mast, handrails? Try the tape method. When she's dry, tape all idea's(we use shrink wrap tape, but any good one will do)then use a hose on all spots. One at a time, low pressure. Hopefully it will help you locate it. We pulled out our headliner(broken frames on the F bridge),insulated,,then bought mahogany luan, stained it with cherry stain, and installed it,with handrails on he seems. Really pretty, and can be removed and replaced. Good luck in the leaks.
