Grounding issues
-
dont remove the wires that is the corect way that evreything is grounded together. also the wire running to youre zinc should be green and thats the wire that is conected to all of youre metal wether it be a tuna tower or a the bow railing. it takes the electricty from the salt water and puts it right to the zinc. and thats why all of the railings are nice and shiny evrey year.

I have read that you should not groound operating systems to the hull ground bonding strips that are attached to the zinc on transom. Mine has a groound wire from the engine to the copper bonding strip attached to keel and zinc. Should this be removed and all 12v electrical systems be only grounded to the batteries or is it the correct method to ground everything together?

thank you! thought that was the correct way.
